Biologically Active Food Additive EnergoIod - Universal Immunimodulator

UNIVERSAL IMMUNOMODULATOR

A new group of biologically active food additives and medicinal preparations containing organic iodine compounds as the main active components mostly with dextran, dextrin and starch emerged in the last 10-15 years. As a rule creators of such preparations point out their high effectiveness in treatment of such complex and fatal pathologies as oncological diseases, viral hepatitis, AIDS, tuberculosis and others. First of all this group of medicinal preparations includes Armenicum which was developed in Armenia with participation of Kazakhstani scientists and was extensively advertised in mass media some time ago. Great hopes were placed in this preparation, which was believed to be the resolution of the problem of searching for effective remedy for HIV/AIDS. Although some scientists were skeptic about the preparation’s direct antiviral effect, practically all of them pointed out its immunicorrection properties.
Close analogs of such preparations are medicinal agents and biologically active food additives developed and produced in Kazakhstan. One of such agents is EnergoIod.
Its distinctive feature is use of so called structured water as solvent, which significantly enhances biological activity of iodine containing preparations and is able to transfer energy to cells and tissues in organism. The preparation’s microelement composition is also improved through inclusion of iron, copper, zinc and magnesium compounds, i.e. compounds being insufficient in nutrition of the overwhelming majority of population. Apart from evident immune-enhancing properties biologically active food additive EnergoIod is an effective remedy for prevention of different types of anemia, diabetes mellitus, arrested sexual development in boys, functional sexual disorder in men, disturbance of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, processes of cells development and maturation.
It is well known that regular consumption of iodinated dietary salt is an easy accessible and effective method for preventing iodine deficiency. However apart from EnergoIod’s effectiveness in prevention of iodine deficiency related diseases due to iodine contained in it, this preparation is distinguished by its universal immunocrrective properties expanding the sphere of its therapeutic use: all diseases and pathological conditions leading role in development and determination of character of which is plaid by immune disorders. First of all they include chronic infectious and allergic diseases, oncological and rheumatologic pathologies, infectious inflammatory processes in various organs and systems of organism, surgery, excessive psychoemotional and physical loads etc. Nowadays apart from clinical data we have results of duly conducted immunological studies aimed at determination of immunocorrective properties of biologically active additive EnergoIod practically in all components of immune system of both healthy and ill people.
It must be noted that despite relatively high content of iodine due to the special manufacturing method this preparation used in recommended doses does not cause any toxic effects, which is confirmed by numerous experimental studies. No any adverse effects were reported to be observed in clinical practice even after long term use of the preparation. Moreover high doses of iodine have been used in medical practice for a long time, including intravenous administration. This is well known preparation kardoron, Lugol’s solution, iodine containing X-ray contrast agents and others.
In conclusion I’d like to mention an important fact which unfortunately is often neglected when it comes to biologically active food additives and serious diseases where delays can worsen prognosis significantly. Use of biologically active food additives is not the main but only additional treatment method aimed at enhancement of efficiency and mitigation of side effects of the first.
