Action spectrum » Regenerating Action

Due to original formulation of the active substance of EnergoIod its action is based upon combination of several effects. Active iodine contained in the preparation evokes mechanisms of regeneration activating directly biosynthetic processes in human organism and ensuring prompt and complete recovery.
Timely use of this preparation significantly reduces risk of scars formation, stimulates recovery processes in smoldering wounds, ulcers, bedsores and fistulas.
Inflammatory process cause acid intoxication of tissues, meanwhile EnergoIod normalizes pH through alkalizing medium.
The preparation helps to improve phagocytic activity of leukocytes and drain inflammatory lymph through cataphoresis.
As a result strain in tissues is relieved and correspondingly pressure put on receptors is decreased, acidulous decomposition product are eliminated and blood circulation is normalized, which is shown in analgesic effect, which leads to prompt clearance of wounded area and early regeneration.
After topical administration of EnergoIod Gel active iodine is released slowly continuously destroying microorganisms without burning skin. Iodine interacts with proteins of microbal wall and functional proteins of bacteria (enzymes) forming iodamines and leading to deactivation of enzymes, destruction of cell walls and death of microorganisms.
Timely use of this preparation significantly reduces risk of hypertrophic cheloid scars formation due to shortening of period of recovery and reducing severity of primary phase of inflammation, gel prevents contamination of wounds and accelerates epithelization process.
This gel shows slight anesthetic effect and possesses moderate fibrinolytic properties.
EnergoIod shows evident corrective effect in burn disease.
EnergoIod preparation has antioxidant, antiedemic, fibrinolytic, antiaggregant and secondary analgesic effects.
